Last week, the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships invaded Cairns, Australia, and Felt athletes put in some performances for the ages. Sina Frei, the reigning U23 European champion, shot out to the front of the field early on in the Women’s U23 event. She held off all of her competitors for a dominant performance and another rainbow jersey to add to her collection. A few days prior, Frei also won a world championship as part of the Swiss squad in the team relay event. Swiss rider Thomas Litscher rode an incredibly strong race in the Elite Men’s field, finishing in third place for a bronze medal. The race for the win was the tightest of all fields at this year’s World Championships, with Litscher crossing the finish line a mere 15 seconds behind the winner. Litscher earned his bronze medal aboard his Felt Edict race bike.
